There are times in the lives of all of us when we feel that we are spinning around, out of control, and not getting anywhere. The busyness of life can be boring and tiring with no end in sight.

Even so busyness is not a sin, necessarily. Jesus was busy walking. Paul was busy talking. Peter was busy balking – until the Power of God’s Presence brought newness to his busyness.

Nothing in life is accomplished unless our busyness becomes God’s business. Just being busy can be an endless road with lots of detours that dead end with weariness and lostness.  When your busyness becomes focused on God’s business, there is no ending. Just a good beginning on the highway to heaven! Just be careful as you go in love not to run ahead!

“Those who believe in God will be careful to use their lives for doing good.”
Titus 3:8

God’s GPS

Loving Father in heaven, I trust that you will use your Holy GPS (God’s Precious Spirit) to lead me and guide me in correction and direction. I ask, dear Father, that my life glorify you where ever you lead — even if I lose my way. My most earnest prayer, Lord, is that I never, ever, do anything to embarrass you or outlive my love, my trust in you, and my commitment to you. I pray believing that I might receive your mercy and grace for living. Jesus name, Amen.
