Yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live. 1Cor 8:6
There is one God – the maker, governor, and preserver of all men. There is one Father of all – mankind, the entire human race. One God lives who desires the same welfare for all his children, not a few. We are His family. We are one blood, won by the blood of Christ Jesus. Father, Son & Holy Ghost have are One interest – redemption of all mankind.
The Christ is one with the Father, reconciling all men to Him. He is the creator of ALL men; Savior of ALL men; and makes His covenant with every sort of man. For what reason? To fulfill every promise of God – to pardon, adopt and sanctify ALL to Him.
ONE MEDIATOR, CHRIST JESUS
God offended by the hate and crimes of men; sent His son to restore them to His Peace. Emmanuel, the Christ came to live among us; and, being the perfect Lamb of sacrifice is our peace-maker with God. Approved by the Father, Christ became the One sacrifice, reconciling man to God for all time and eternity.
ONE RECONCILER
Christ came to bring ALL those far away from God, close. He made peace for every man by the blood of the cross, removing the barrier of law establishing the rule of love from God. One reconciler, He satisfied justice. And now, what role does His reconciliation mean to us? He sits at the right hand of God the Father. He makes constant intercession for us. Reconciling us to God, He is our constant advocate. He makes wide the narrow path on our behalf, commanding the covenant blessings of Abraham to the children of God – today, tomorrow and always.
